- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Was supposed to be getting an apartment through these guys, talked to them the first week of the month about an apartment of theirs that was being cleaned I had just seen, shook hands and agreed to come in closer to the end of the month to sign papers since the apartment wasn't ready yet. They called me a week later asking if I wanted a different place, I insisted I liked the first place but I would look at the other too. Called the next day, said I hated the other place, definitely wanted the first. Realized a day later it was strange they were being insistant about this other place and called again to make sure everything was alright. Was told everything was fine. Repairs finish last Thursday, we're told we can go ahead and start moving stuff. Me and my husband go over, clean everything top to bottom and bring over a couple things. Next day we go over there, and the locks have been changed. Contact them about getting the new key. Told they'll get to us the next day. A week later, when we're supposed to be signing the papers, we still don't have the new key. Found out that on last Thursday they gave it to someone else. Then they lied and told my husband that I hadn't called back to tell them I wanted the place and that's why they had given it away. So I called myself to set the record straight, and was told that I had never gone to look at it, and when I argued I had, was told to forget it because it had been given away a week ago and that was the past and to move on because nothing could be done. So I hung up on them. And what I still can't get is how they didn't call to tell us they gave the apartment away 8 days ago...March 16, 2017by Kit Fox
